Dakota Dream King

Updated 01/16/08

Dakota Dream King, 1999 ApHC Gelding (One Moore Dream x Timin Bugs Lacey) For Sale $8,500 Firm

Dakota runs horse againt horse in the ApHC pen and is good on the lines. At the 2007 ApHC World Show, he was the 12th fastest quialifing in the Non Pro Barrels out of 31 horses! The World Show outing was his first time at a BIG app show. Dakota ran horse against horse opposite the World Champion run and then ran against another VERY seasoned horse. He gave a good accounting of himself in both races and was great on the line.

Pictured below is Deb with Dakota at the World Barrel Racing in Ohio, 2007 where they finished in the top 30 out of around 500 horses.

Dakota is a grandson of Dreamfinder. His sire, One Moore Dream also carries the lines of Impressive Andrew, Hayes Roman Cloud, Tardee Impressive and Bright Eyes Brother. Dakota's dam traces to Bugs Alive in 75 and King David among others.

Deb has owned Dakota for 4 years and prior to this time, he was green broke. Dakota has been brought along VERY slowly. He is starting to really run in the poles and barrels and wanting to run. He is hunting the barrels and is an awesome pole horse.

Dakota has also been winning in pleasure classes at the open shows and Deb's 3 yr old granddaughter shows him in leadline. He is a very gentle horse and wants to please. Deb allows youth riders to ride him, of different levels of riders and he always takes care of them. He would make an awesome youth or non pro horse. He is halter and running bred and pretty to boot. He will run indoors and outdoors and doesnt have a problem going to different pens, he is also really good at the gate, he will stop and walk out of the pens. Deb NEVER runs in and out in to the open as she feels it is to dangerous for a horse and others to do so. Contact us for more information
